THE LONG STORY
Hey there! I'm Chukwuemeka Okere, a passionate Product designer with a flair for visual storytelling and a knack for turning complex ideas and systems into intuitive designs. On a mission to craft delightful and meaningful user experiences i bring a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to every project. Armed with a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the vibrant State University of New York at Oswego, I also once upon a time earned my Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications and Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. My journey has served me different opportunities, offering me the chance to collaborate and lead dynamic design teams. Picture this: I've interned with the Office of the City of Arlington, Texas, adding a touch of innovation to municipal experiences. Across four countries, I've lent my skills to ship stellar products for a myriad of clients and nimble startups.
Drawn upon a diverse background with roots from Nigeria, I am a cheerful designer who believes in purposeful user-driven designs, where the core of the product embodies its function. Inspired by a myriad of fields, I’m constantly challenging myself by learning new skills and staying up to date with current design practices. At the core of my personality is a never ending curiosity. My Northstar is serving others with empathy while handcrafting impactful design solutions and experiences to tell their stories. My motivation stems from my love for technology, my passion for all things design, functionality and ability to create value for stakeholders by transforming concepts into tangible, end to end user-centric solutions.
When I’m not pushing pixels, you'll find me experimenting with delectable new recipes, perusing the houses I've earmarked on Redfin, sketching away, and delving into the latest in emerging tech, business, and design research through articles.
